Tickets must be purchased in advance. This event is for ages 12 and up. Parking is available in the lot located to the west of the building, between NAP and Kremer. Restrooms and light refreshments will be provided. 10% of proceeds will be donated to the Nebraska AIDS Project to support their work and thank them for their collaboration and use of their space.

Embark on a spine-chilling evening exploring the Haunted History of Benson! At a leisurely pace, we’ll meander through downtown Benson, uncovering the darker, more sinister tales that haunt its streets. Along the way, you’ll hear eerie accounts of paranormal encounters from those who have lived and worked in this shadowy corner of town.

*****The tour covers about ½ mile on concrete. Details on where to park and meet will be revealed upon purchase. Due to the unsettling nature of the content, this tour is recommended for ages 12 and up. We schedule these tours on Monday and Tuesday evenings, when the bars are closed, offering better parking and a more ghostly ambiance.

FAQ

Are tours refundable?

These tours are intimate and exclusive, with tickets in limited supply. Once purchased, your ticket is non-refundable. The only exception is if I am forced to cancel due to severe weather, when the forces of nature itself become too menacing to ignore.

What should I wear?

I strongly urge you to wear sturdy sneakers or boots, as you’ll be traversing over grass, uneven dirt paths, and rocky terrain. During mosquito season, pants are a must to shield yourself from the biting creatures of the night. *I’ll have bug spray at the ready, but beware—the shadows may hold more than just insects.

How scary are tours?

I don’t aim to startle you with sudden scares or loud “BOO!” moments. This tour is a deep dive into the eerie annals of true crime and the paranormal. While some may find themselves a bit unnerved, it's usually just a squirrel rustling through the leaves rather than a ghostly apparition.

*****I strongly advise against bringing children. I have no intention of frightening young ones and will not tailor the tour for them. Please note, the age limit for this tour is 12 and up.

Do skeptics go?

Yes, skeptics join in —sometimes dragged along by a thrill-seeking partner. I’m not here to convert you into a believer, but to offer an intriguing and unconventional evening. All I ask is that you respect the fact that others may be true believers, and honor their thoughts, theories, and experiences with an open mind. After all, in the realm of the unknown, respect for each other’s beliefs is the first step into the shadows.

What if weather ruins our tour?

A mere drizzle won't deter us, but lightning, torrential rain, and tornadoes are forces that even we fear. Should the weather take a turn for the sinister, I’ll inform you by 5pm on the day of the tour. You’ll have the choice to either reschedule or receive a full refund. Beware—when nature’s fury rises, we retreat to safer realms.
